· N° 14
In Arches, Chantraine, Châtenois, Senones, Saint-Dié, this Monday, a new doctor opened the surgery door. Sixteen junior doctors in general practice, in their fourth year of training, joined sixteen towns of the Vosges for twelve months, 251 across the Grand Est region, 36 in Moselle. The measure was voted in the Senate against medical deserts; in the Vosges, people already call it “good news for the département”.
Sixteen, again
Sixteen, again: the number of French projects selected by the European Innovation Fund, out of 77 winners, more than 750 million euros in grants. France is ahead of the Netherlands (9), Spain and Germany (8), Belgium (6): low-carbon steel at Fos-sur-Mer, geothermal lithium, synthetic fuels, batteries, a 5-gigawatt solar panel factory. They still have to be plugged into the grid, notes La Clé publique.
A prize, a film, a record
And on Tuesday, Philippe Jaenada received the Goncourt prize for “L’Inconnue du quai de Javel”: “it is wonderful news”, he said on France 2. The same evening, Kraken became the most-watched French horror film in twenty-five years, and PSG set a record in Villarreal. One more doctor in the village, a prize, a film that frightens: which of these changes your week?
